Do you need any more instructions?

Check out the video below

  • In order to get a beautiful head of lettuce, use 1 liter (0,26 gallon) of fresh bottled water with a PH-value between 7 and 8. The PH value is mostly indicated on the label.

  • The Growth Set should be placed in a room with a temperature between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius (59-77 Fahrenheit). A room with a temperature of 19 to 20 degrees Celsius (66-68 Fahrenheit) is optimal. The set cannot be placed outside.

  • The crops need a certain amount of light every day. The optimal situation is where the crops get 18 hours of the LED light and 6 hours of ‘sleep’.

  • All packaging can be reused at up to three times. The bag should be sealed as high as possible to make reuse possible. For instructions how to use the packaging, please see our video at www.owngreens.com.

  • Seeds and minerals should be stored inside the packaging in a dark place, at room temperature. It is important that you keep them away from children.

  • Fully-grown Lettuce can be kept in the fridge or in your kitchen. Depending on where you keep it, you can keep it either two (in the kitchen) or four weeks (in the fridge). You do not need to wash the lettuce because there will not be any bacteria. Use what you want to eat and start picking from the bottom of the plant.
